At the San Diego River Park Foundation, we love volunteers!
In fact, our organization started with volunteers and is dedicated to engaging people in enhancing the quality of life of communities along the River and caring for the River's wonderful resources.

Volunteer Leader

Want to be involved as a volunteer leader? Training and support available along with fun and meaningful projects to restore the river and create the River Park System-Email us

We also welcome most volunteers in need of verified community service hours.

Highlighted Openings

Park Patrol

Walk the River trail and report on any issues like dumping, grafitti or illegal activity. Email us

Video Events	Experienced person needed to create 30 second - 1 minute videos to document our volunteer events.
Projects	Would you like to help advance river park and trail projects? Become a project advocate!
Mid-Week Clean-Ups	Become a River Rescuer! Small groups will remove targeted trash and debris. Sign-Up for the notification list by email
Preserve Monitor	Experienced and non-experienced people are needed to help care for our open space preserves. Weekdays or weekends.
Administrative	Interested in being part of our office team? Can you answer emails, help with mailings, grantwriting, fundraising, or accounting?
Greeter	Do you like people? We are looking for volunteers to welcome visitors and answer phones. Shifts 10- 12:30 and 12:30 - 3PM. T - F. Do one day or more per week.
Event Planning	From River Days to our Anniversary Celebration, we have events throughout the year. Can you help put on a fun happy hours and or an awesome fundraiser? We also need hosts for "House Parties." Contact our Event Coordinator for details, click here or call 619-297-7380.
