Twice a year we survey the River. Your are invited to join us!
Next Blitz will be in March 2009

How it Works
1) Teams are assigned to sections of the River which will take 2 -3 hours to survey
2) Surveys record non-native plants, trash, and park problems
3) Data is compiled into a State of the River Report which will be available in late November
4) The Report guides future Clean and Green events, projects and other actions
5) Surveys take place in October and March

Web-based Information Center

Our goal is to cleanup the River within two years! Thanks to our volunteers more than 910,000 lbs of trash have been removed to date. Check out recently recorded trash sites on the web at www.imrivers.com/sandiego
