1. River Mouth Dune Project
Location: River Mouth / Dog Beach

Time: 9AM

Host: Friends of the River Mouth
Goal: to care for the beautiful coastal dune habitat and associated wetlands.

2. Location: Mission Valley Preserve
West end of Hotel Circle Place

Time: 9AM - Noon, drive through ballfields and follow signs to event
Hosts: San Diego River Park Foundation
Supporters: SDG&E, Mission Hills Garden Club
Goal: to beautify the Preserve's picnic area. Volunteers will be painting fences, improving trails, repairing an information kiosk, and other activities.
Other: Wear clothes to get dirty in including closed toe shoes. Tools,gloves, supplies, water and snacks provided.

The Mission Valley Preserve is a 50+ acre City of San Diego park dedicated to wildlife. The San Diego River runs right though the middle of it. Volunteers will have an opportunity to walk to the River and to learn about wildlife in the area.
