El Cap is At Risk As long as part of our beloved El Cap (El Cajon Mountain) is privately owned it is at risk. Join us as we work with landowners to permanently conserve this icon for generations to enjoy. Not only is this landmark visible from many communities, but it is also an important wildlife area. Golden eagles are known to nest in the area. A well known trail also provides access to a stunning view of the San Diego River and El Capitan Reservoir. Link to Google Map Please consider making a donation today of $10, $100 or more to support creating an acquisition fund to conserve these few privately owned parcels. If you can do more, please consider adopting one acre. $1300 can save an entire acre of El Cap. Send us an email to let us know of your pledge or how you would like to help. Get your friends, co-workers and family to join you. Make this your personal cause! Together we can save El Cap!
