ACQUISITION FUND The River Park Foundation has identified two parcels that could be added to the Preserve. We will continue to work with the landowners to determine their interest in donating or selling these important lands. In anticipation of this effort we are working to build an acquisition fund of $20,000. This fund would be used for essential work of appraisals and potentially options to secure these properties for us to pursue. Time is of an essence with these type of transactions! Having an acquisition fund could be make the difference. About the Preserve. |

Acre Party - Host a party and invite your friends to raise $1300. That is the cost of one acre on El Cap. The River Park Foundation will come and talk about the Project. We'll bring a projector and show some cool photos if you like. Employer matching gift program - If your employer offers this program, how about getting your co-workers to raise $650 and have your employer match the rest. Stock - Donate stock and we get the full value. You save on taxes if it has appreciated in value! Do a Fund Drive - Ask your group, scout troop or classroom to join you in raising $1300 or any goal. |
