An endowment held at the San Diego Foundation. The Fund serves as a permanent source of revenue to care for Eagle Peak Preserve. This fund can only be used for Eagle Peak Preserve. ACQUISITION FUND We are currently in discussion with two landowners to potentially purchase their undeveloped land. We will need $10,500 for one property and $15,000 for the other property to secure an option to purchase them before they can be sold for potential development. These are significant opportunities to protect wildlife, the undisturbed views and the serenity of open space. We have appraised both properties and now need funds to secure options or to place the properties in escrow while other funds can be identified. Your donation to our Acquisition Fund will support these important purchases! |

Here are some fundraising ideas on how you can help

Acre Party - Host a party and invite your friends to raise $3000. You can adopt an entire acre on Eagle Peak Preserve for $3000. The River Park Foundation will come and talk about the Project. We'll bring a projector and show some cool photos if you like. Employer matching gift program - If your employer offers this program, how about getting your co-workers to raise $1500 and have your employer match the rest. Stock - Donate stock and we get the full value. You save on taxes if it has appreciated in value! Do a Fund Drive - Ask your group, scout troop or classroom to join you in raising $3000 or any goal. If you donate or raise $500 or more, your name or that of the group or business will be placed on a property donor appreciation bench or plaque.
