San Diego River Park Foundation's Corporate Partners share a strong commitment for creating the San Diego River Park while providing significant support for our volunteer, awareness and education programs. We take an "investment" approach to working with our Corporate Partners. We believe that the River Park makes good sense for our community, for our environment, for our quality of life and for our future.
We seek Corporate Partners who share this belief in the River Park. Our Corporate Partners play a vital role in making the River Park a reality by providing funding for the development and implementation of projects. Whenever possible, Corporate Partner Program funding is leveraged for grants and other funding- often at a ten to one ratio. We think that is a good investment.
A set percentage of the Corporate Partners Program supports community programs where the Partners' funding is leveraged with volunteer hours. We think that is a good investment as well.
Finally, 10% of funds raised will be placed in an endowment fund to sustain this effort into the future and to provide ongoing support for projects. We hope you agree that this is a wise investment in the future of San Diego and will join us a Corporate Partner.

Examples of Programs Supported by the Corporate Partners Program
Community Enhancement Program
Funding from this program supports projects within the communities along the river. Trained professsionals design and coordinate the individual projects which are then implemented by volunteers. In 2007, two beautiful mural along Friars Road have already been completed.
Each year 3 - 4 projects will be initiated.
River Trail Markers
Funding from the Corporate Partners program are supporting the installation of trail markers along existing sections of the 40+ mile long San Diego River Trail under development. Markers are already installed along 3 miles of the River's estuary and in Santee. Markers will soon be going up and Mission Trails Regional Park.
Outreach and Education
The Corporate Partners support our ongoing efforts to engage the community in our mission. Each year brochures are printed to provide information about wildlife, public art, history and more. Partners are recognized in the brochures.
Endowment
An endowment provides permanent support for the River Park Foundation. As a proud partner of the Endow San Diego Program initiated by the San Diego Foundation, our endowment will be used to support our core programs. And with an endowment, funds are protected while the investment interest generated is only used. In this way, an endowment is a gift that keeps on giving. 10% of the donations received through the Corporate Partners Program will go to build the River Park Foundation Endowment Fund to sustain these programs for years to come.
